What is calcium sulphuricum?
Calcium sulfuricum is used for the homeopathic treatment of skin and mucous membrane problems. There are purulent processes such as abscesses, fistulas, abscessed tonsils, severe acne, but also conjunctivitis or corneal inflammation of the eyes. The remedy is considered an alternative to Hepar sulfuris and is also often given in combination.

Dosage form of Calcium sulfuricum
Calcium sulfuricum is preferably given as low-potency tablets. In some cases, the remedy is also suitable for constitutional therapy. For this, however, the details should be coordinated with a homeopath.
Calcium sulphuricum dosage
In the case of chronic processes, a dose of three to five tablets daily is recommended. In addition, another tablet can be given for acute symptoms. As soon as the symptoms subside noticeably, the drug should be discontinued. As an alternative to tablets, globules can be given, with five globules corresponding to one tablet.
Calcium sulphuricum during pregnancy
Pregnant women can use Calcium sulfuricum for all of the above-mentioned complaints without any side effects. The remedy for the treatment of pregnancy acne has proven itself.
Side Effects of Calcium Sulfuricum
The administration of calcium sulphate can temporarily lead to a worsening of the symptoms. If these persist after one day or worsen, the drug should be discontinued. Other changes or side effects are not known.
