The homeopathic remedy Castor is suitable for the treatment of warts and inflamed, cracked nipples and mastitis. It is given for chronic tailbone pain (coccygodynia), and is also suitable for chronic pain in the shinbone and heel spurs.

How do you recognize patients who need Castor equi?
Castor people are easily disconcerted by their way of making fun of serious things. They sleep a lot, are constantly hungry despite lack of appetite and crave nicotine.
In the morning one feels dizzy, has a pressing headache and earache with nausea, and there is watery diarrhea. After eating, copious amounts of saliva are produced, the tongue burns. Sitting is difficult, especially in the evening, back and leg pain occurs, often on the left side, with rarely an underlying physical illness, but a psychosomatic complaint. There are also complaints of burning pain behind/in the ears, on the lips and in the face. Fingernails and toenails are brittle and tear easily.
Roundish warts can be found on the forehead and in the chest area. The breasts are swollen, itchy from the inside out, the nipples are red, swollen, dry and cracked. One presses against the breasts when climbing stairs to relieve the discomfort.
Castor adults often laugh about serious things or in serious situations.
