Homeopathy is based on takes the advantage of the positive effect of potassium chloratum in inflammatory processes of the mucous membrane and rheumatic complaints. How do you recognize patients who need potassium chloratum?
People who need potassium chloride show congestion in the blood circulation and in the lymphatic system. These show up as burst veins on the face and legs (spider veins). Emotionally, they react unexpectedly and exaggeratedly, always feel under pressure, constantly see themselves as obligated. It is rather overweight patients who tend to “eat away”. The complexion is then contaminated by deposits, the back and feet, especially the soles of the feet, are very painful, and the airways are narrowed or clogged.

Conjunctivitis
Inflammation of the retina, cornea, choroid or conjunctiva of the eye, which is not very painful and is accompanied by scanty discharge. Also in isolated vitreous hemorrhages with limitations of the field of vision.

Mastitis
Inflammation of the mammary glands in men and inflammation of the mammary glands in women, with tenderness and swelling.

Lung infection

Mucous membranes
Sometimes painful blistering and white-spotted, rounded deposits on the mucous membrane of the cheeks, tongue, inner lip and gums (aphthae), also with fungal infections (thrush). Application information
Dosage forms of potassium chloratum
D4 to D12 are used, in the mother tincture D2.
Potassium chlorate dosage
Potassium chloratum is given in a potency of 4X, 6X or 12X three times a day with five globules. If the symptoms are acute, the remedy can also be taken every two hours, but only until there is an improvement. If you use the D30 potency, a single dose per day is sufficient.
Higher potencies should not be used in self-medication.
Potassium chlorate effect
Potassium chloratum acts on the mucous membranes, the respiratory tract and the kidneys.
Potassium chlorate in pregnancy
Potassium chloratum is given for colds and inflammation of the frontal and paranasal sinuses during pregnancy, combined with white mucus formation in the nose and throat. It can also be given for tonsillitis and bronchitis. Pregnant women with chronic cystitis also benefit from the effect of the drug. Potassium chloride is one of the less commonly administered homeopathic remedies.
If the symptoms are the same, therapy with the Schuessler salt No. 4 of the same name is more widespread.
Potassium chloratum for the baby
A proven use of potassium chloratum is oral thrush in babies. The oral mucosa is inflamed and reddened with white, detachable plaque.
Potassium chloratum for dogs, horses and cats
Potassium chloratum is often given to animals suffering from inflammation of the mucous membranes. During the disease, the animals quickly become aggressive if you approach them.
Potassium chlorate side effects
No side effects or interactions of potassium chloratum were found in clinical studies. It can be combined with all other homeopathic remedies.
