What is Cinnabaris?
Cinnabaris is used in homeopathy to dissolve mucus in ear, nose and throat diseases, especially in acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, maxillary sinus and frontal sinuses, in purulent pharyngeal tonsils (angina tonsillaris) and colds. It helps with eye inflammation and ciliary neuralgia. Cinnabaris is effective for headaches and nosebleeds that occur as side effects of the diseases described.
As a skin remedy, it is used in the treatment of warts and condylomas.

How do you recognize patients who need Cinnabaris?
Cinnabaris typically manifests as severe pressure on the bridge of the nose and a dull frontal headache over the eyebrows and around the eyes. It forms thick, difficult-to-drain pus discharge, which flows from the nose into the throat. Cinnabaris people show dry mouth at night. They clear their throat with expectoration of mucus or spit out chunks of mucus. Warts, or skin nodules, form on the genitals and shins, and bright red sores appear on the skin.
Cinnabaris adults are very sensitive to sounds. They are easily offended and develop grievances from bad news and when they get upset over trifles. Even when they are very ill, they still claim to be healthy.
Cinnabaris children are unhappy and anxious. You are easily offended but enjoy making fun of others. You talk in your sleep.

Dosage: 3 times a day 3 globules in the potency D6

Application information
Dosage Forms of Cinnabaris
Globules are used in potencies D3 to D12, ampoules from D8. For skin diseases, high potencies from C5 upwards are used. Cinnabaris requires a prescription up to and including D3.
Cinnabari’s dosage
For skin diseases or warts, take five globules of Cinnabaris D12 once a day. Genital condylomas are treated with a morning dose of D6. In acute cases, inflammation of the airways is treated with Cinnabaris D12 and five globules are given in the morning and evening. If the symptoms subside, you switch to a single daily dose of D30, which is also recommended for chronic symptoms.

Cinnabaris acts on the respiratory tract and the skin.
Cinnabaris in pregnancy
Pregnant women can use Cinnabaris as an alternative to Hydrastis for acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, tonsillitis and colds. It reduces mucus production and helps control inflammation. It is also given for nosebleeds if this occurs as a side effect of the underlying disease.
Since the original substance is considered toxic, the drug should only be administered in higher potencies during pregnancy and in consultation with a doctor.
Cinnabaris for the baby
Cinnabaris is used to treat purulent constriction of the foreskin in male infants. It is also used for ear and skin infections when a yellowish-green secretion is secreted at the affected areas.
Cinnabaris for dogs, horses and cats
Cinnabaris is used in animals primarily to treat chronic sinus infections. Typical complaints are a blocked, dry nose and copious, stuck mucus.
Side Effects of Cinnabaris
The drug should only be given if there is a clear indication and it corresponds as closely as possible to the drug picture. It is advisable to seek professional advice prior to therapy with Cinnabaris.
Low potencies can lead to poor concentration, insomnia and gastrointestinal problems in sensitive patients.

Mercurius solubilis
In the case of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, Cinnabaris and Mercurius solubilis have a similar drug picture. Mercurius solubilis is indicated when the pain is burning.
