What is Condurango?
Condurango is rarely used in homeopathic therapy. The drug acts on the stomach and duodenum as well as on the central nervous system. It is sufficient for infections and inflammations of the upper digestive tract, as the production of gastric juices is stimulated. In homeopathy, due to the bitter substances contained in the bark, Condurango is valued both as an appetite stimulant and to promote digestion, as well as to treat cracked lips, the corners of the mouth and the anus.

How do you recognize patients who need Condurango?
Painful feeling of fullness without prior food intake as well as severe weight loss or severe general wasting of the patients were observed. Occasionally, respiratory paralysis occurs.
Condurango – Adults are sad and mentally confused. They suffer from hallucinations and see snakes all around them.
Condurango children show cracked corners of the mouth and warts around the mouth as noticeable external signs.

Gastrointestinal complaints

Dosage form of Condurango
The drug is preferably given in the form of drops or the globules are dissolved in water before ingestion.
Condurango dosage
If necessary, take 5 drops or 5 globules dissolved in water, preferably in the potency 6X. It can be taken up to five times a day. Infusion therapy could be considered.
Condurango in pregnancy
Since clinical studies on the use of Condurango in pregnant women are not yet available, self-medication should not take place.
Condurango side effects
Side effects and interactions with Condurango are not known. The remedy can be used alongside conventional medical therapy.
Similar means
Acidum nitricum
Acidum nitricum is the most similar remedy to Condurango for the torn corners of the mouth. Acidum nitricum is indicated for very painful tears that bleed easily.
Graphites
Graphites is indicated when a yellow, honey-like secretion flows from the torn corners of the mouth. This forms crusts after it dries up.
Antimonium crudum
Antimonium crudum is indicated for people with cracked corners of the mouth who have a good appetite and eat a lot.
sodium chlorate
In Natrum chloratum the corners of the mouth are also cracked, but there are also cracks in the middle of the lower lip.
Phosphorus
Phosphorus also has burning pains in the esophagus, but these are due to inflammation of the esophagus. The burning pain in Condurango is caused by inflammation of the gastric mucosa.
