What is Conium maculatum?
Conium is used in homeopathy for signs of aging such as menopausal symptoms, vascular calcification, prostate enlargement, impotence, age-related asthma and loss of strength. It is used for spastic and flaccid paralysis of the muscles, also for organ weakness. Conium acts on hardened glands and swollen lymph nodes.
It is also used in cancer therapy. Benign skin tumors are treated with Conium ointment.

Conium shows mental and physical paralysis. All movements appear uncertain, shaky, slowed down. The slightest exertion leads to sweating and dizziness. Conium people cannot tolerate milk, and after consuming it, they writhe and vomit. She craves sour, salt and coffee. Stool and urine can only be pressed out with great effort. There is great physical weakness during defecation, which can lead to fainting. Positional vertigo often occurs, combined with an oppressive headache. Light-sensitive, inflamed eyes with black flashing visual disturbances are typical of Conium.
Conium maculatum – Adults are inwardly frozen, mentally sluggish, forgetful, uncaring. They suffer from fear of loss, do not want to be alone, but cannot bear company. They are hysterical and hypochondriacal.
Conium maculatum children are stubborn. They tolerate contradiction very reluctantly. You are strict and overly critical. They don’t get along well with other children, but they also don’t like to be alone as they are very anxious. Depending on the focus of treatment, potencies between 2X and 30X are used for both internal and external use.
Conium maculatum dosage
The potencies 6X and 12X are mainly used for the self-treatment of acute illnesses. As a rule, the remedy is given in the potency D6 up to three times a day and in the potency D12 up to twice a day. Wait until the improvement persists before taking it again.
Chronic complaints are treated by therapists with the higher C potencies. The drug is administered at intervals of weeks to months.
