Which Schuessler salts relieve a sore throat
If you want to use the Schuessler salts to combat sore throats of a general nature, you can use the Schuessler method with No. 3 Ferrum phosphoricum and No. 12 Calcium sulfuricum: No. 3 is generally considered to be a remedy for the first stage of a disease. Take 10 to 30 tablets a day at the first sign of a sore throat. Ten tablets of No. 12 should be sucked throughout the day.
Suitable Schuessler salts for sore throat with mucous sputum are No. 3 and No. 4 potassium chloratum – taken alternately.
In addition, the number 4 of the Schuessler salts is said to relieve sore throats that are associated with a white-grey coating on the tonsils. Potassium chloratum is also indicated for chronic pharyngitis with white, viscous mucus in the back of the nose.
Potassium phosphoricum is also used in certain cases of sore throat: No. 5 of the Schuessler salts is said to combat sore throats with severely enlarged and painful tonsils.
Children in particular often get acute tonsillitis (angina). According to Schuessler’s concept, this combination of minerals should help:

- 10 tablets No. 11 Silicea

Mix these pills together in a container and have your child suck one or more of these pills throughout the day. If tonsillitis is causing a strong, foul-smelling mouth odor, you can add ten more tablets of No. 5 Potassium Phosphoricum to the mix.
You can also use the various Schuessler salts like No. 3 externally as an ointment.
