What is Taraxacum?
The homeopathic remedy Taraxacum is made from the dandelion plant and is used for chronic infections of the liver and stomach lining.
Typical signs are loss of appetite, stabbing pains in the upper right abdomen and changes in the tongue. This is covered with a white film and is shed in patches. Underneath, red spots become visible, which are very sensitive. The patients appear apathetic, depressed and irritable.

Taraxacum dosage
Chronic complaints are usually treated with Taraxacum D6 or D12. The remedy can be taken in potency D6 three times a day and in potency D12 once or twice a day. As soon as the symptoms subside, the administration intervals are increased and the drug is no longer taken if there is an improvement.

Taraxacum acts on the liver, gastric mucosa and oral mucosa.
Taraxacum in pregnancy
The homeopathic remedy Taraxacum can be given during pregnancy to treat nausea caused by liver and bile disorders and inflammation of the gastric mucosa. It is not a remedy that is indicated for typical pregnancy symptoms.

Side Effects of Taraxacum
If you are known to be hypersensitive to dandelion or other composite plants, the drug should not be taken in potencies up to 6X or 3C.
