Eucalyptus in homeopathy: properties, benefits and uses (all you need to know)

What is eucalyptus?

Eucalyptus acts on the mucous membranes and can be used as a remedy for all age groups, including self-medication. Although rarely used, the remedy has a positive effect on various complaints of the respiratory, urogenital and digestive tracts. It has a circulation-enhancing and antiseptic effect. Eucalyptus has a positive effect on the flora of the urinary tract and bladder as well as the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines.

The homeopathic remedy is mainly used to relieve purely physical ailments; the mental aspect tends to take a back seat when the remedy is used. Eucalyptus fits as a first-aid remedy in a homeopathic home, travel or children’s pharmacy.

Information about the agent

How do you recognize patients who need Eucalyptus?

In contrast to a healthy, vital and happy person, sick Eucalyptus people appear very needy and depressed. They shy away from any physical exertion, lose themselves in alcohol, show melancholy and listlessness, and are very restless at the same time. Physical weakness predominates and discourages any mental activity. Tonsils and lymph nodes are swollen, as are the joints, which are aching and stiff to the touch.
