Graphites in homeopathy (all you need to know)

Graphites is the homeopathic remedy obtained from the mineral graphite, ideal for skin health, useful for fighting fatigue and disorders of the genital organs. Let’s find out better.

The Graphites homeopathic remedy is obtained by triturating graphite with lactose and subsequent dilutions and dynamizations in hydroalcoholic solution. Graphite is a mineral consisting of crystallized carbon, iron oxides and other minerals.

It is generally present in nature in the form of leafed masses or ranular aggregates, rarely as crystals. The main fields are found in Mexico, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Austria, Madagascar, USA and Siberia.

It is known that the other natural form containing free carbon, this time in a very pure state, is the diamond.

Graphite is one of the softest minerals, has a black-gray steel color, is greasy to the touch, dirties the fingers and leaves a black trace on the paper. In addition to the production of the pencil lead, it finds many applications in various industrial sectors, including those for the production of refractory materials, lubricants, brushes for electric motors, pencils and for the hardening of steel.

When using Graphites

Graphites is one of the main homeopathic polychrests and is also one of the main constitutional remedies, whose constitution of reference is the carbonic one.

Due to its chemical composition, made mainly of coal but also of iron, Graphites is the remedy that contains part of the quality of iron and part of the quality of coal, as well as new properties deriving from the combination of the two aforementioned elements. Graphites homeopathic remedy is used in the following main cases:

In all chronic cases, 9CH, 15CH or 30CH dilutions, one dose every 2 – 3 days.

To Whom is Graphite recommended

The Graphites subject, having an almost exclusively carbonic constitution, has a robust, opulent build and with all the hypofunctioning endocrine glands, in particular thyroid, adrenal and gonads.

The poor functioning of the thyroid leads to a slowed basal metabolism and a lack of metabolic activity of the tissues, with insufficient heat production, for which the subject is extremely cold and has a marked tendency to gain weight up to obesity. The low activity of the adrenal glands makes the subject devoid of emotion, of any enthusiasm, apathetic, indifferent, who gets tired easily, listless, sad and melancholy.

The poor functioning of the gonads lowers libido and compromises normal sexual activity, which can even lead to frigidity in women and impotence in men. Graphites has dry, flaky skin, dry mouth, dry hair, hard, thick nails, dry stools, and has chronic rhinitis.

A marked feature is the sensation of blood in the head with flushing of the face. Furthermore, considering that the remedy contains traces of iron, we will find anemia and all its consequences, such as pallor, insufficient menstruation and constipation.
