Application information

Mezereum dosage forms

Due to the skin complaints, which are usually very itchy but heal only slowly, Mezereum is used in the wide range between 6X and 30X.

Mezereon dosage

For neuralgia, Mezereum 6X is given three times a day with five globules. Rashes are treated with three daily doses of D12. This dosage also applies to children. For the treatment of shingles, the drug is administered in the potency D30 once a day until noticeable healing.

mezereon effect

Mezereum acts primarily on the skin and nervous system.

Mezereon in pregnancy

During pregnancy, the immune system is naturally weakened to avoid rejection reactions. At the same time, this increases the susceptibility to viral and bacterial diseases. In particular, the herpes virus, which is anchored in almost all people, can lead to increased symptoms here. It usually manifests itself in the form of shingles or cold sores. Diseases such as psoriasis, neurodermatitis, impetigo or erysipelas (erysipelas) may also experience a negative boost during pregnancy.

The homeopathic mezereum can be administered to pregnant women to relieve symptoms and to increase the immune system. The remedy also helps with various neuralgic diseases that are due to the weakened immune system.

Mezereon for the baby

Mezereum is considered a proven remedy for treating cradle cap in babies. Thick, yellowish crusts form on the hairy scalp. With severe cradle cap, the baby hairs are stuck together. Thick crusted skin rashes can also appear on the face. The skin is itchy and the babies scratch their heads and faces, which makes the itching worse.

Mezereon for dog, horse and cat

In animals, severe itching without visible skin changes is treated with mezereum. The animals are irritable and want to be alone. The itching worsens during the night.

Side Effects of Mezereum

There may be a temporary increase in itching, especially under the influence of cold. No other side effects are known. The remedy has no negative effects on other medicines.

Typical potencies: Mezereum is often used in potencies 6X, 12X, 30X and 200X.
