Nasyamap is a cosmetic product formulated according to the Ayurveda tradition.

More precisely, nasyamap is an oil for nose and nostrils that is part of the products dedicated to cleaning the sense organs according to Ayurveda.

In fact, Ayurveda provides for particular rituals of cleaning the nose, throat, tongue, eyes and ears since these are sense organs that put us in direct communication with the outside world.

As for the nose, according to the ayuveda this organ is of great importance because precisely through the breath, energy or prana can enter our body.

To improve breathing and purify the nose, Ayurveda resorts to a practice called navana nasya which involves the use of a nose oil with therapeutic properties.

This oil is marketed under the name nasyamap.

Nasyamap is a eutrophic, eudermic and emollient oil, that is, an oil capable of softening the skin and providing nutrients to the epidermis.

The properties and benefits of nasyamap make it a product indicated to improve breathing especially in case of colds and allergic rhinitis, problems related to smell and dryness of the internal cavities of the nose.

The daily use of nasyamap, according to Ayurvedic medicine, would instead be able to bring benefits even in case of migraine, vision disorders, muscle tension of the neckanxiety and sleep disorders and problems related to mood.


Nasyamap, how to use it

Nasyamap is a eutrophic oil for the nose formulated with natural ingredients: sesame seed oil, goat’s milk and plant extracts including cinnamon, turmeric, licorice, cardamom and sandalwood.

Nasyamap is used by massaging one or two drops of the product inside the nasal cavities and in the outer area of the nostrils.

This operation can be carried out every day for cleaning the nose or only in case of problems affecting the respiratory tract, applying the product even two or three times a day.

It is often recommended to use nasyamap after nasal washing as well as before meditation.
