Red Grevillea: properties, benefits and uses (Australian Flower Essence and Remedy)

Red Grevillea is an Australian flower remedy made from Grevillea speciosa. Useful if you feel blocked or dependent on someone or something, it  combats pain in the temporomandibular joint. Let’s find out better.

Description of the plant

Grevillea speciosa – bushy shrub with showy red flowers that grows in the sandstone areas north of Sydney and reaches 2 meters in height. The flowers form circular clusters both at the ends of the branches and between the leaves; they are tubular and roll up the petals showing a single stylus with the tip in the shape of a club. The resemblance to a spider recalls the plight of the Red Grevillea type, trapped in a web like an insect. The signatures of the flower and the shrub also show the strength and perseverance visible in the strong rooting of the shrub, and the layer of protection we put on our inner nature, visible in the envelope of the buds.

Property of Red Grevillea

  • The flower helps to find the strength to leave behind unpleasant situations, in which one feels blocked or dependent on someone or something, and promotes independence, audacity and indifference to the judgment of others.
  • It acts as a catalyst for those who know what they want and need but do not know how to do or how to change the situation they are in, promoting the awareness of being protected and in control of their lives.
  • It fosters patience in times of change, allowing us to slow down, observe and rearrange what is necessary for us to do in that moment.
  • On a physical level, it has an action on the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) whose misalignment can cause pain, jaws, difficulty opening the mouth fully, or emotional imbalances.
  • Similar action of Bauhinia on the rebalancing of the ileocecal valve.
  • Red Grevillea is contained in the Fluent Expression and Transition Compounds.

Preparation and use

In a 30 ml bottle, add ¾ of natural water and ¼ of brandy to preserve the product; add 7 drops for each chosen flower. 7 drops of this personal blend are taken under the tongue, morning and evening, upon awakening and before bed. The drops can also be applied locally as well, combined with neutral cream as a carrier, in the bath water or vaporized in the environment to create a harmonious place. They can also be prepared without brandy, making sure that they do not degrade (if necessary, the preparation is repeated). They can be diluted in a little water or herbal tea, even for children.

The presence of Red Grevillea in the Fluent Expression compound for its ability to balance the temporomandibular joint, favors an efficient verbal fluidity and a better verbal expression of oneself and one’s opinions.

It has a similar action to Bauhinia in rebalancing the ileocecal valve.
