Red Suva Frangipani: properties, benefits and uses (Australian Flower Essence and Remedy)

Red Suva Frangipani is an Australian flower remedy made from Plumeria rubra. Particularly suitable when in the middle of the painful experience, it helps to calm the nerves and sadness. Let’s find out better.

Description of the plant

Plumeria rubra – the essence was prepared in 1990 on the coast near Darwin in the Northern Territory. Unlike the other frangipani it does not have the sweet and fragrant quality but an aromatic and musky smell.

The common name ‘frangipani‘ seems to derive from the French ‘frangipanier’, the latex-like coagulated milk collected from the cut tree, or from the Marquis Frangipani, a 16th century Italian nobleman who produced a fragrance by combining essential oils to perfume gloves, and which remained famous in Europe for centuries: the perfume of Plumerie reminded the colonizers who arrived in the Caribbean.

Plumerie are the flowers of the welcome wreaths in tropical countries.

For Muslims and Buddhists it represents immortality, given its ability to survive which causes leaves to produce long after they have been uprooted; for this it is planted near temples and cemeteries. Its petals are reminiscent of fresh, subtle and refined velvet to the touch. The tree can reach 3 meters in height, with a large branched, erect and gray stem that bears the 5-petalled crimson flowers, fragrant and collected in terminal groups, creating a contrast with the long and leathery dark green leaves that reach the 30 cm in length.

It belongs to the family of oleanders, petunias and starry jasmine (Apocynaceae) with over two thousand species widespread in tropical areas around the world. The name of the genus Plumeria derives from Charles Plumier, French botanist. In the Pacific area it is known as ‘Bleeding Heart Frangipani’, frangipani with a bleeding heart, to remember its field of action.

The drops can also be applied locally as well, combined with neutral cream as a carrier, in the bath water or vaporized in the environment to create a harmonious place. They can also be prepared without brandy, making sure that they do not degrade (if necessary, the preparation is repeated). They can be diluted in a little water or herbal tea, even for children.

In case the emotional loss or relationship difficulties are with the father or the mother, it is possible to add Red Helmet Orchid (father) or Bottlebrush (mother).
