Silicea in homeopathy (all you need to know)

Silicea is a homeopathic remedy made from silicon, useful for undernourished children, women and elderly people, with osteoporosis, skin problems and weakness. Let’s find out better.

Silicea, silicic acid, is an acid obtained by treating an alkaline silicate with hydrochloric acid; silicon is a non-metal or nonmetal. It appears as a fine, white, water-insoluble powder, devoid of taste and odor.

Silicon after oxygen is the most widespread element; on the earth’s crust it is contained in silicic anhydride and in numerous silicates, present in nature in crystalline modifications such as quartz in its pure state.

The homeopathic preparation Silicea is obtained from rock crystal subjected to grinding.
