How do you recognize patients who need Stramonium?
The patients are very lively to the point of uncontrolled talkativeness. The symptoms are reminiscent of chronic alcohol abuse. Stramonium patients are tremulous, have dilated pupils and cannot articulate clearly, often repetitive. A deep flush is typical. They dislike water and cannot swallow it. They grind their teeth at night and often wake up screaming, screaming, and crying.
Children can also be affected. Stramonium people are overly direct, their language can be lewd and at times fecal. They find direct touch unbearable, almost painful, and therefore try to avoid it. Dosage forms of Stramonium
Up to and including dilution D3, Stramonium is subject to medical prescription. Since it is the treatment of a chronic disease, a higher potency is usually prescribed.
Stramonium dosage
Beginning infections and inflammations, including fever, are treated in the potency 6X or 12X with five globules or one tablet, which is given five to seven times a day. In highly acute cases, Stramonium D6 can also be given every hour. The dose is gradually reduced as symptoms subside. Sleep disorders are treated with a dose of D12 directly before going to bed. In the case of severe insomnia, this dose can also be doubled. In the case of mood swings, it is recommended to take Stramonium in the potency D12. The remedy should be administered here for a month before bedtime.
Stramonium in pregnancy
Stramonium is mainly used during pregnancy in the treatment of depressive moods and unfounded anxiety and the associated psychosomatic side effects such as shortness of breath, migraines and sleep disorders. During childbirth, it is given for labor cramps. Stramonium is one of the most tried-and-tested homeopathic remedies, especially after complicated deliveries and postpartum depression.
