Tall Yellow Top: properties, benefits and uses (Australian Flower Essence and Remedy)

Tall Yellow Top is an Australian flower remedy made from Senecio magnificus. Used as an adjunct in the treatment of depression, it is also used for complications due to structural imbalances of the pelvis with repercussions up to the cervical. Let’s find out better.

Description of the plant

Senecio magnificus – The senecio species belongs to the same family as the daisies and is very widespread in the world and on the Australian continent.

The 40 Australian species grow in all Australian states, in particular in the semi-arid areas of New South Wales, the state of Victoria, the south of Australia and the Northern Territory. The name of this genus (senecio) comes from the Latin senex, which means “old man”, with reference to the white scales on the fruit, which resemble a beard.

The Senecio magnificus reaches one meter in height and grows on the banks of rivers and in the dry stream beds of central Australia. The foliage is soft and delicate. Australian species can be annual or perennial and have yellow flowers. Each flower head contains small white flowers like daisies and looks like a single large flower.

This Signatura reminds us that the essence favors the sense of belonging in many situations, from the feeling of not belonging to anything or anyone, of not being desired, necessary, to when there is no sense of ‘home’, to the alienation of having been excluded from something, fired, and similar situations.

Property of Tall Yellow Top

  • It fosters a sense of belonging, being and feeling ‘at home’ in many situations, including cases of displaced persons, refugees, and the like.
  • It helps to recover the acceptance of oneself, of others, of the situation, the connection and the sense of belonging to the family, to the workplace, to a nation.
  • It allows the reconnection between the rational and emotional spheres in situations of lack of love (in the relationship with oneself and with others).
  • Adjuvant in the treatment of depressive states.
  • Tall Yellow Top is contained in the Adol Compound.

Preparation and use

In a 30 ml bottle, combine ¾ of natural water and ¼ of brandy to preserve the product; add 7 drops for each chosen flower. 7 drops of this personal blend are taken under the tongue, morning and evening, upon awakening and before bed. The drops can also be applied locally as well, combined with neutral cream as a carrier, in the bath water or vaporized in the environment to create a harmonious place.

They can also be prepared without brandy, making sure that they do not degrade (if necessary, the preparation is repeated). They can be diluted in a little water or herbal tea, even for children.

The action of the essence sometimes needs time and patience. It is therefore recommended to take it for prolonged periods, up to 6/8 weeks without interruptions. The effect is gradual but the benefits are profound. In the treatment of depressions, alone or associated with Kapok Bush and Waratah.

Also used in the treatment of structural torsion and the consequent complications due to structural imbalances of the pelvis with repercussions up to the cervical (vertebrae misalignment, different length of the legs, neck pain).

It is possible that the issues of belonging and isolation stem from prenatal or postnatal experiences. The essence can therefore be useful associated with holistic techniques that deal with this type of event (Metamorphic Technique, Prenatal and others).
