Yellow Cowslip Orchid: properties, benefits and uses (Australian Flower Essence and Remedy)

Yellow Cowslip Orchid is an Australian flower remedy made from Caladenia flava. Indicated for hypercritical, judgmental and closed people, it is useful for promoting humanitarian commitment and mediation. Let’s find out better.

Description of the plant

Caladenia flava – Caladenia is a genus of about 80 species of terrestrial orchids, most of which are found only in Australia. Caladenia flava is native to western Australia and grows from Kalbarri to Esperance, that is, from the north to the south east.

It is a very particular species for its yellow flowers which often have crimson spots, loves light and drained soils, in protected and shady areas. It has large and hairy lanceolate leaves up to 25 cm long, the flowers with a diameter of 3-4 cm are often solitary, and up to four flowers can be supported on a slender stem about 30 cm high. Flowering occurs in spring.

The yellow color is symbolically related to the intellect and the element of Air, to which the endocrine gland of the pituitary is linked, which is balanced with this essence. This orchid has a sociable and aggregating nature, it grows in tufts, in groups: as the element Air symbolizes group activity, social order, harmony, so this essence helps people who isolate themselves from their feelings and from the group, so much are they focused on the intellect.

Preparation and use

In a 30 ml bottle, combine ¾ of natural water and ¼ of brandy to preserve the product; add 7 drops for each chosen flower. 7 drops of this personal blend are taken under the tongue, morning and evening, upon awakening and before bed. The drops can also be applied locally as well, combined with neutral cream as a carrier, in the bath water or vaporized in the environment to create a harmonious place.

S i can also prepare without brandy making sure that they do not degrade (possibly, the preparation is repeated). They can be diluted in a little water or herbal tea, even for children.

The association with Isopogon can be useful to rebalance the hormonal imbalances to which women who have taken the birth control pill for years are subject.
