Schuessler salts: headache

Anyone who relies on taking Schuessler salts for headaches should take the nature of the symptoms into account. Because this influences the selection of the salts. For example, Schuessler salts No. 3 are recommended for throbbing headaches and No. 8 for dull headaches. Find out more here about which Schuessler salts are supposed to relieve headaches and migraines according to Schuessler’s teachings.

Schuessler salts: headache

According to Schuessler’s theory, the “Hot 7” should relieve pain: Take seven to ten pieces of Schuessler Salts No. 7 Magnesium phosphoricum and dissolve them in boiled water for a short time. Sip the solution as hot as possible. In this form Magnesium phosphoricum is generally suitable for the treatment of headaches. In particular, these Schuessler salts are intended to relieve headaches that shoot up like lightning or rise from the neck.

Depending on the pain characteristics, other Schuessler salts are said to relieve headaches:

  • No. 21 Zincum chloratum 6X is indicated for headaches caused by nervousness, combined with excitement or tension.
  • If the headache mainly affects the forehead and temples, No. 14 Kali bromatum D6 should be the right choice.
  • Calcium phosphoricum D6 (the No. 2 of the Schuessler salts) is indicated for headaches that are accompanied by tingling or numbness in the arms and legs.
  • Headaches as a result of emotional, mental or physical stress and associated with great weakness are treated with No. 5 potassium phosphoricum D6.
  • If the headache is accompanied by a feeling of pressure, throbbing and a red head and if the patient has dark shadows under the eyes, Schuessler salt no. 3 Ferrum phosphoricum can be used (in the potency 6X or 12X).
  • Pressing headaches that give the feeling that the head is swollen are said to require Schuessler Salt No. 17 Manganum sulfuricum D6.
  • On the other hand, sodium chloratum (No. 8 of the Schuessler salts) is said to improve headaches that feel dull and are the result of dehydration.
  • If the headaches get worse in warm rooms, No. 6 potassium sulfuricum D6 is given.
  • No. 11 Silicea D6 is used for headaches caused by draughts, changes in the weather or a full or new moon.
  • On the other hand, Schuessler Salts No. 22 Calcium carbonicum D6 should help with stubborn headaches, mainly in people who appear bloated and have allergies.

If the migraine is accompanied by nausea, dizziness and vomiting of white mucus, No. 4 potassium chloratum D6 is used.

If transparent mucus is vomited, No. 8 sodium chloratum D6 should help. In addition, these Schuessler salts are said to drive away migraines, which are characterized by blurred vision, nausea and severe symptoms, in combination with two other salts. This mineral combination is:

Ointment No. 7 Magnesium phosphoricum is said to help with headaches that rise from the neck and with migraines. In addition, an ointment based on these Schuessler salts can be used to treat headaches that occur on one side and suddenly shoot in. Rub the ointment on the neck and forehead.
